We tried an experiment with out new Sweet Peach grilling and smoking chips. Every once in awhile you get lucky and this was it!
We actually used a average cut of chuck steak knowing that if it was a real bummer, we were not out much.
Peach Teriyaki Glaze
3 tbsp peach preserves
2 tsp grated fresh ginger
2 tbsp cider vinegar
1 med clove fresh garlic pressed
2 tsp hot sauce (we used Frank's)
1 tbsp molasses
1 tbsp tahini or sesame oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
A dash of paprika
Mix all ingredients in a bowl
Rub steak on both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic granules!
Fill the smoker box on propane grill with Sweet Peach chips or add to charcoal when ready to grill. When the chips begin to smoke, sear the steak on one side. Flip and add glaze. Grill halfway through to taste and flip. Add glaze to finish.
